Villa del Balbianello adult ticket

The adult ticket admits one visitor aged 19 or over to Villa del Balbianello on one date and at one garden entry time. It includes the guided tour of the house, about 50 minutes in a group of no more than 16, and the garden, the terraces and the Loggia Durini at your own pace.
What the adult ticket covers
A guided tour of the villa's rooms in Italian or English: Count Monzino's French furniture and tapestries, the library and music room in the loggia, and the Museum of Expeditions under the roof with the 1971 North Pole sledge.
Before and after the tour, the garden, the terraces with the umbrella-pruned holm oak, and the Loggia Durini with its wind rose in the floor.
On the day
Walk out from Lenno (about 25 minutes uphill) or arrive by taxi boat, and reach the ticket office ten to fifteen minutes before your entry time. Show your e-ticket there; staff validate it and tell you when your guided group goes into the house, which can be up to 60 minutes later.
Pushchairs and bulky backpacks stay outside, where staff show you. After the tour, the garden, the terraces and the Loggia Durini are yours until closing time.
Who this ticket is not for
Visitors aged 6 to 18 and students aged 19 to 25 with a student card have their own fares, and two adults with two or more children aged 6 to 18 can book the family fare. Children under 6 go free. If you only want to walk the garden without the house, this is not the ticket: we book the guided villa tour.
